Cultural Hubs are creative spaces, either inside buildings or in public space, that exist by the grace of placemaking and uses it to innovate the city around them. The workshop Cultural Hubs, base for innovation presents six inspiring cases from Greece (Athens), Spain (Valletta) and The Netherlands (Utrecht, Delft). After six short presentations, the presentators and the audience will address four aspects of cultural hubs in reference to placemaking: Local Context, Programming, Organisation, Finances.
