In this session we will explore what is the spine of the stories of parents, practitioners and city strategists when they work towards spaces for children. Our session will reflect upon the storyline that allows different actors of the “child-friendly cities” concept to share a common understanding on how to co create places “of children”, and not “for children”. During the session the participants are invited to share their knowledge and perspective and to grow their way of thinking from the experience of being a parent in the city, to neighbourhood transformation and city-wide strategy, and all the way back to the start. Participants will take back home shared insights on how to think holistically about inclusive placemaking around children and will get familiarised with the “Think-Pair-Share” method using „20 good reasons for space transformation“ tool.
