Project for Public Spaces is one of the leading voices behind the Innovation District concept. In this workshop Nate Storring from PPS will provide an overview of the theory, history, and current state of Innovation Districts.
Three cities—The Hague, Rotterdam and Valencia—will share how they work on innovation districts, their successes and their challenges to becoming a “true” innovation district. These challenges may be recognisable for other cities around the world. In an interactive discussion, we will work with participants to identify strategies to tackle these common innovation district obstacles.
