Placemaking Week Europe

How could we use walking to refeel and reimagine public spce for better placemaking?
The “use your feet” session invites you to experience walking & wandering as a way to read the city and as an approach of adding creativity to urban planning and design.
The experience of our everyday journeys and the extent to which we want to make those journeys on foot, are vital to our quality of life. Considering the diverse motivations, desires and decisions we make on our journeys will expand and unlock the interaction between street experience, placemaking and urban decision making.
A series of walking journeys and reflections unlock unique experiences of the city and the potential to improve that experience through urban planning and design.
